The short version

• No telemetry. The Reel Room app does not track, profile, or phone home about what you watch.
• Your library stays yours. Your media and watch history live on your Jellyfin server or your own drives — not with us.
• Your network stays your network. Streaming traffic between Reel Room and your server stays on your local network.
• We don’t sell your data. Ever.

1. The Reel Room application

Reel Room runs locally on your PC. To play your media it connects to the sources you configure — a Jellyfin server, a local drive, or a network share. The credentials and addresses you enter are stored on your own device so the app can reconnect. Your watch state, posters, and metadata are read from and stored on your server, under your control.

The app does not collect analytics, build advertising profiles, or transmit your viewing activity to Union25 or any third party. Any network connection the app makes is to a destination you configured (such as your own server) or, where applicable, to your chosen storefront for license verification.

2. The reelroomvr.com website

Our marketing website may collect a limited amount of standard technical information that is necessary to serve and secure the site — for example server logs containing IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. If we use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand general traffic, it is configured to avoid tracking you across other sites. We do not sell this information.

3. Purchases

Reel Room is sold through third-party storefronts such as Steam. When you buy through a storefront, your payment and account details are handled by that storefront under its own privacy policy — we do not receive or store your payment-card information.

4. Email and support

If you contact us (for example at admin@union25.com), we receive the information you choose to share — such as your email address and the contents of your message — and use it only to respond to and support you.

5. Cookies

The website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, where applicable, for aggregate analytics. The Reel Room application itself does not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

6. Third-party services

Reel Room interoperates with third-party software and platforms, including Jellyfin, Steam, and your VR headset’s runtime. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. Reel Room is an independent product and is not affiliated with Jellyfin, Inc.

7. Data retention

Because most data stays on your own device and server, you control its retention and deletion. For the limited website and support data we do handle, we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Children

Reel Room is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
